When I say I trust God, it means that I decide to follow Him rather than my limited knowledge.
When I say I trust God, it means that my daily activities and relationship to him and others are not determined by my ever-changing feelings.
When I say I trust God, it means that my worries about the future and guilt from the past do not change the fact that He loves me and forgives me, He has and always has His best plan for my life.
When I say I trust God, it means that my life is no more mine. It is completely His, and it is for His glory. By depending on Him every day, every hour, every second, I leave my old self and decide daily to live a new life according to His will.
When I say I trust God, it means that I believe in Him. I believe in His ways, His promises, His plans, His directions, His presence, His words, His love, His forgiveness. I believe He has a better life for me to live now and later in eternity. I believe that He will always be with me when things are going well and when I struggle.
Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him. (Psalm 32:10)
