Secret of Contentment

Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. (Exodus 23:18)

Have you ever felt in love with someone that you never get bored when talking with him/her?

Or perhaps, have you ever felt so loved by someone, that you know he/she listens to you and accept you as you are?

Being with them makes you feel content. You feel like you don’t need other things.

Moses has an experience like this. When God called him to the place where He revealed His glory, Moses was there for 40 days and 40 nights. Imagine being someone 40 days and 40 nights non-stop!

God’s presence offers us contentment. His love for us is so pure and real, we don’t need the things the world offers. Have you ever been with God, enjoying His presence, listening to His words, praising Him?

The secret of contentment is to be with Him as He alone can satisfy your soul.

Give your life to God, pray and call Him now. Let Him be your God and His presence will change your life.

Glory to God.

Next Level

Take me to the next level, God. Where I glorify your name more than ever. You know it’s hard for me, but I know I can always rely on You.

To God be the glory. Forever and ever amen.

Exodus 1-2

The next level of faith. Israel, a nation oppressed, was brought to a new challenge. A challenge that requires an upgrade in their faith. Life is like that, God wants you to trust Him more than you have. It’s called growing.

The way and the truth and the life

I am not a person who has a good memory in terms of direction. Thomas, however, looks to be the right man if you want to ask for direction.

When Jesus told His disciples about His Father’s house, He said He will prepare a place for them, and will come back to take them to the place where He’s going. Thomas wondered how will they know the way if they do not know where Jesus is going.

Jesus’ answer was simple: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

If we accept Jesus and if we follow Him by relying in the Holy Spirit, we are walking in the way, living in the truth, and living the life He wants us to live.

People are publishing books on how a company become successful. They call it “The [company name]’s WAY”. But Jesus, He is the eternal way, truth, and life. Living in Him is basically the same as living with the Father. The offer to have a close relationship with our Father now and forever is what’s on the table.

I accept it, I won’t trade that for anything.

All glory to God.

For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

why can't I do it?

why after trying a thousand times I kept failing?

why can't I be free from the bondage of sin?

why is the problem too hard?

why?

remember this verse: For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

so why are you keep doing it with your own effort? why do you leave God? why are you not praising Him in facing the battle? why do you think you can do it without Him?
