Walk With God

Life is a walk. It is a journey with challenges and goals. The destination  depends on the person we are walking with.

When you walk alone, you’ll walk around with no purpose in your life. You’ll be happy, finding momentary pleasure the world can offer, but you’ll realize that something’s missing.

When you walk with God, you’ll be tempted to see those who can walk freely. You’ll be asking yourself why on earth am I not like them? Sometimes, you’ll leave God, asking Him to leave you alone. But God, is faithful and forgiving. When you realize that your emptiness cannot be satisfied by what the world offers, you’ll come back to God, asking Him if you can walk with Him again. He always says ‘yes’ to repentance.

Walking with God is never easy. It means total submission, ‘not my will but Your will’ prayer every day. This requires trust, total dependence in Him. It requires communicating with Him every day through prayers and reading His love letter. It doesn’t promise an easy life, but strengthened steps. It doesn’t promise instant pleasure, but eternal peace. It doesn’t promise a lot of money or power, but a relationship with the Almighty. It doesn’t promise instant success, but it builds Godly character.

Luke 1:38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”
